TCI Udayana University held Mandarin training for tourism actors at Tanah Lot Tourist Object, Tabanan Bali, Friday (8/10/2021). The implementation of this training activity was carried out face-to-face by involving approximately 30 participants from various divisions in the management of Tanah Lot Tourist Object. This activity will be carried out for 1 full month with the distribution of training schedules 2 times a week with a training time of one and a half hours centered at the Tanah Lot. Drs. I Made Sendra, M.Si as the Indonesian Director of TCI Udayana University in his speech that the purpose of carrying out Mandarin language training activities for tourism actors in Tanah Lot is none other than to improve language skills, especially Mandarin, considering the number of tourist arrivals from China who visit Tanah Lot Tourist Object were very high before the Covid-19 pandemic. Hopefully, with the opening of international tourism which will be held on October 14, 2021, it will be a hope to restore the world of tourism in Bali in general and in Tanah Lot Tourist Object in particular. The implementation of this training activity is expected to be able to be practiced directly for every Chinese tourist who comes to Tanah Lot Tourist Object so that it will be able to improve the quality of service to every Chinese tourist who visits Tanah Lot Tourist Object. Tanah Lot Tourist Object Operations Manager represented by Mr. Agus Tika as the Head of Tanah Lot Tourist Object personnel division in his speech that the management in the process of offering cooperation, especially in providing Mandarin language training is highly anticipated because this training is certainly very beneficial for improving the quality of service to staff who will provide services to tourists from China who will visit Tanah Lot Tourist Object. Through this opportunity, he also expressed his gratitude to TCI Udayana University for facilitating the Mandarin language training activities, hopefully this activity will continue and provide benefits for all tourism actors in Tanah Lot Tourist Object. At the end of the activity, a learning process was carried out for the participants who were followed from various divisions in Tanah Lot Tourist Object. In the training process, the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity because Mandarin was a new language for them to learn and had a high level of difficulty. In the learning and teaching process, especially in training, the emphasis will be on communication skills, especially in relation to everyday conversations that are often used when providing services to tourists.
