Considering China as the new emerging market of tourism in Indonesia, the TCI at Udayana University could cultivate Mandarin language skill for Indonesian people, preparing local Chinese language teachers training courses and vocational program, providing high-quality Chinese language course and cultural exchange activities as the main purpose. Another objectives is to respond the local people’s demand, students, and teachers being interested in learning Chinese language and culture, and enhancing the educational and cultural communication between Indonesia and the People`s Republic of China (PRC).
