On 23 February 2018, CTTC Udayana University in collaboration with Hasanuddin University conducted Chinese New Year Celebration at Agrocomplex Building in Sudirman Campus. The event was begun with the tradition of Drinking Tea Ceremony attended by ASEAN Chinese Ambassador Huang Xi Lian, the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr..A.A. RakSudewi, Sp.S (K), the Rector of Hasanuddin University Prof.Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A., the China Director of Confucius Institute of Hasanuddin University Prof. Tao Xian Guang, Dean of Tourism Faculty Udayana University Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sunarta, M.Si, the Head of CTTC Drs. I Made Sendra, M.Si, Chairperson of the Center for Inter national Programs (CIP) Ni Putu Sri Harta Mimba and Head of UPT Education, Training and Services, Udayana University I Nyoman Udayana, M.Lit, PhD and other invitees.
The spirit of globalization through cross-cultural worldwide. The 2ndcelebration of the Chinese New Year communication will develop the mutual understanding Festival and the Lantern Festival is the realization of the spirit of cross-cultural understanding which was hold yearly at Udayana University. On March 15, 2019 Chinese New Year Festival was conducted and attended by 1500 participants organized by CTTC (Chinese Tourism Training Center) Udayana University in collaboration with the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Denpasar.
On March 7th, 2018 Chinese arts entered the campus of Udayana University for Chinese art performances. The event was hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar who invited the Hainan Folk Art Exhibition to perform Chinese art at Udayana University. The wonderful traditional Chinese art and Balinese songs and dances not only brought the audience to understand cross-cultural understanding, but also promoted the cultural exchange between the artists of the two countries
